Mike Dixon


Mike has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry as a financial advisor/planner and as an accountant for a large US bank. He has also been a teacher, principal and headmaster in four private Christian schools.

He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education administration.

He and his wife, Margaret, have two adult sons, Christopher and Adam. Mike and Margaret attend Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem where he has served as a deacon, Calvary Provision board member and adult Bible class teacher.

Mike and Margaret enjoy time with their family as well as travel and home improvement projects. He enjoys woodworking (though Margaret says he’s not very good at it).

Tyler Schweigert


Tyler is a native of North Dakota and a graduate of Liberty University, having obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance. He oversees operational tasks for clients at Dixon & Company.

Prior to joining Dixon & Company, Tyler worked as a manufacturing line supervisor for Frito-Lay, then transitioned to Winston-Salem in 2015 when he took a leadership role with PepsiCo’s corporate finance division. Tyler left PepsiCo in July 2017, joining Dixon & Company to pursue his dream of serving people through the financial planning process.

Tyler is married to Kristen. They are active in their church and in their free time love learning more about the art and science of cooking.

Ben Shamberger


Ben is a Greensboro native and is a proud alum of Appalachian State University class of ’07! He has a BS in business marketing, was a member of the ASU men’s soccer program and the ASU Ambassadors.

Since graduation, he’s been a sales manager, teacher, coach and business owner before becoming a financial advisor in 2012.

Ben and his wife Joy have 3 young children (2 girls and a boy) and he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing soccer and drums and guitar.

He has a passion for coaching people through every aspect of wealth management.
