Tyler Schweigert
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®
Co-Owner
Tyler is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s financial journey with clarity and confidence. A native of North Dakota, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Liberty University and brings a unique blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and personal care to his role.
Before joining the financial services industry, Tyler gained valuable experience in operations and corporate finance. He began his career as a manufacturing line supervisor with Frito-Lay, later transitioning to Winston-Salem in 2015 to take on a leadership role in PepsiCo’s corporate finance division. In July 2017, he made a pivotal career change—leaving the corporate world to pursue his passion for financial planning by joining Dixon & Company.
In April of 2024, Tyler and his business colleague Ben Shamberger acquired Dixon & Company following the retirement of the firm’s founder. As co-owners, they are committed to preserving the firm’s legacy while providing values-based, client-focused financial advice.
As a CFP® professional, Tyler emphasizes comprehensive planning with a special focus on tax-efficient strategies. He works closely with clients to optimize their financial plans not only for today but with a long-term, tax-smart perspective.
Tyler lives in the Winston-Salem area with his wife, Kristen, and their two sons. He is actively involved in his church and values the opportunity to serve others both professionally and personally.
Ben Shamberger

Co-Owner
Ben is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who brings a dynamic and relational approach to wealth management. A Greensboro native, Ben is a proud alumnus of Appalachian State University, Class of 2007, where he earned his B.S. in Business Marketing. During his time at ASU, he was a member of the men’s soccer team and served as an ASU Ambassador—early signs of the leadership and team spirit that continue to define his work today.
Before becoming a financial advisor in 2012, Ben built a diverse professional background as a sales manager, teacher, coach, and business owner. This range of experience shaped his ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and guide individuals through important decisions with confidence and care.
In April of 2024, Ben and his business colleague Tyler acquired Dixon & Company following the retirement of the firm’s founder. Together, they are dedicated to upholding the firm’s values while continuing to deliver thoughtful, personalized financial advice to every client.
As a CFP® professional, he is committed to helping individuals and families align their financial decisions with their life goals.
Ben and his wife, Joy, live in the Triad area with their three young children—two daughters and a son. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing soccer, drums, and guitar.
Zach Baker

Operations Manager
Zach Baker serves as both Operations Manager and Financial Advisor at Dixon & Company where he plays a vital role in ensuring the firm runs smoothly while also supporting clients in achieving their financial goals. He holds the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ (AWMA®) designation, reflecting his commitment to comprehensive, client-centered financial planning.
Zach joined Dixon & Company in 2022, bringing with him a unique and diverse professional background. Prior to entering the financial services industry, he served as an EMT-B for a local ambulance company and held upper management roles in the restaurant industry. These experiences have honed his ability to lead with empathy and manage complex situations—skills that translate seamlessly to his current role.
As Operations Manager, Zach oversees the day-to-day functions of the firm, ensuring that systems and processes run efficiently in support of both clients and advisors. As a financial advisor, he works closely with clients to provide financial advice tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Zach lives in Lewisville with his wife, Lindsey, their dog, Ozzie, and their cat, Smitty. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and working on his golf game.
Stephanie Messer
Client Service and Office Administrator
Stephanie brings a spirit of service and dedication to our team, shaped by more than two decades as an educator in the public school system. With a background in both elementary and special needs education, she has built a career grounded in patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping others succeed.
A graduate of Mitchell Community College and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Stephanie holds a degree in Elementary Education. Today, she applies her lifelong skills in communication and organization to support our clients and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.
Stephanie lives in Lewisville with her husband and is the proud mother of three sons, with the youngest soon to leave the nest. She recently became a grandmother and treasures every moment spent with her first grandchild. Active in her church and community, Stephanie continually looks for opportunities to serve and connect with others.
