Mike has many years of experience in the financial services industry as a financial advisor/account vice president for a global financial services company and as an accountant for Wachovia. He has also been a teacher, principal and headmaster in four private Christian schools.
He has a master’s degree in education from Tennessee Temple University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Piedmont Baptist College. Mike is a member of the Society for Financial Services Providers.
He and his wife, Margaret, have two adult sons, Christopher and Adam. Mike and Margaret attend Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem where he team teaches in the Lineberry Class, serves on the deacon board and the ProVision Foundation.
Mike and Margaret enjoy time with their family as well as travel and home improvement projects. He likes woodworking (though Margaret says he’s not very good at it) and has begun to putter around with raised bed gardening.
Tyler is a financial advisor at Dixon & Company. He also oversees operational tasks for our clients.
Tyler is a native of North Dakota and a graduate of Liberty University, having obtained his bachelor’s degree in finance. Additionally, he has completed some of the coursework required in his pursuit of acquiring the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Prior to joining Dixon & Company, Tyler worked as a manufacturing line supervisor for Frito-Lay, then transitioned to Winston-Salem in 2015 when he took a leadership role with PepsiCo’s corporate finance division. Tyler left PepsiCo in July of 2017, joining Dixon & Company to pursue his dream of serving people through the financial planning process.
In his spare time, Tyler is involved with his church, enjoys golfing, and learning more about the art and science of cooking.
Ben is a Greensboro native and is a proud alum of Appalachian State University class of 07! He has his BS in Business Marketing from Appalachian State University and is an alumni of the Appalachian State University Men’s soccer program and the Appalachian State University Ambassadors.
Since graduation he’s been a sales manager, teacher, coach, and business owner before becoming a financial adviser in 2012.
Ben and his wife Joy have 3 young children (2 girls and 1 boy) and he enjoys spending his time with his family, traveling, playing soccer and drums and guitar.
He has a passion for coaching people through every aspect of wealth management.
